Love knows no boundaries....
Have you ever been in love? How does it feel?? How did you know that it was love after all???
For me, you cant say it is love, but you can feel. Love knows no gender, age, and physicality. Love will make you experience the best and the worst. And what's even good about it is the fact that it enrages you to do something irrational, illogical, and selfish, all for the sake of satisfying yourself. Does that even sound good??
I have lots of funny stories about love. I can still remember a friend, aliased as
'Loloy', who did everything for his loved one. He became a martyr, a helper, a mother, a maid, a secretary, a laundry washer, a carpenter, and a whole lot more, just because he wanted to provide happiness to his loved one. But in the end, it was still not enough to satisfy both parties, and he ended up wounded, broken into pieces.
I myself have my own personal stories to share. But let these be kept special and memorable, so Il be slowly sharing it soon. However, let me just share a recent story of love turned into tragedy.
The whole story was as blur as the foggy winter morning in Marawi City. Even the media wont be able to supply the complete story itself, because both parties involved were no longer existing.
Jake Perez (aka Josh Delo Santos) is a 13-year-old guy (uncertain as the media says he is 13, but his facebook post says he is 15) who fell in love with another guy named Jonathan Salvador, 16 years old. Perhaps due to hatred, misunderstanding and frustration, their love affair ended in tragedy. Watch these videos to understand more about their relationship, somehow. This is another story of the victims of love!
Somehow, what makes it intriguing is the fact that Jake is too young to be able to do such, but he did. Can you imagine yourself when you are 13 years old? What did you do? Have you experienced such feeling of love and affection at that very young age? Yes, Jake did!
The gun he used was allegedly from his mother. It is actually a home-made gun, a .22 caliber pistol (is it called pistol? i really dont know). Everybody was clueless as to how he was able to pass through the security. Investigations have been ongoing about the loose security measures as well as the whole incident story. The latter ended when both were pronounced dead! Jonathan had a gsw (gunshot wound) and the bullet was still inside his skull, same as that of Jake who shot himself after shooting Jonathan. They both developed internal hemorrhage. It went critical and complicated all the brain functions, until their brains are no longer functional. A day or two after the incident, they were pronounced 'brain dead' by their respective doctors. Shortly after, Jake was no longer breathing and reached the end of his line. Meanwhile, Jonathan was already dependent on life support system. The next day, his family decided to stop the life support machine since they already accepted the fact that they can no longer bring back Jonathan alive. They brought him home right after. After pulling off the plug, it will take roughly 20-30 minutes before Jonathan's body will be dead.
It was a tragedy to both families and I am deeply sorry for their loss. I am extending my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. It was so hard to accept, since both families are hoping for a brighter future together with their sons. But I am hopeful that they can completely accept the reality and move on, in God's will and guidance.
As I end this post, I am still clueless as to what happened to the twisted story. Love triangle has been the initial findings of the police. But nobody lent credence to that claim. There was another name involved, but I just cant locate it virtually. The investigation may already been closed, but there is still a big story behind to tell. A story of personal differences, personal satisfaction, depression, grief, hatred, anger and frustration, all credited to one four-letter word --- LOVE!
