According to DZMM, Ram Revilla was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant early saturday, 29th of October 2010.Ram Revilla is a half-brother of Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla Jr and both members of the famous Revilla Clan. Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla informed the DZMM about the incident. He said that Ram has no known enemies and what happened to him is definitely a clueless thing to the Revilla Clan. The senator revealed that a gunman wearing a bonnet entered the house of his half-brother in BF Homes. The killer shot and stabbed him and his woman companion, Jonelle Manahan. According to the ABS-CBN report,
"Citing a police report, Revilla said the gunman shot Ram with either a 9mm or .45 caliber gun and then stabbed him."
Ram Bautista Revilla planned to run in the next
elections as a councilor in Imus, Cavite according to his Facebook post. Ram, 22, also an actor, is a son of former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. and Genelyn Magsaysay.
Ram was declared dead on arrival at a hospital.
"Wala akong alam na may kagalit ito. And alam ko, gusto niya, nag-aambisyon siya na tumakbo na konsehal sa bayan ng Imus.', Senator Ramon Revilla Jr said.
'Mabait na tao ito, wala akong masabing masam.', he added.
According to the senator, Ram was his father's favorite and they had a hard time to inform the former senator because of his failing health.
Robbery was not the motive of the crime because nothing was taken from the house.
